Member

National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA)

For nearly 90 years the NSCA has supported Australian businesses in implementing superior health and safety practices and risk management. As the nation's primary safety network, it delivers varied training programs and advisory services both onsite and remotely, with audit capabilities that help companies achieve WHS/OHS certification and quality accreditation standards.

"Mayo Hardware is proud to be a member of the NSCA to influence safer workplace culture."

Founding member

National Permit To Work Committee (NPTWC)

Mayo Hardware is a founding member of the NPTWC, comprising industry leaders from Australian and New Zealand sectors spanning mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, power generation and utilities.

The committee was established to create industry-driven standardisation for Permit to Work frameworks. While current systems vary in terminology and design, the NPTWC identified fundamental principles common across all PTW approaches — an AS/NZS Standard would consolidate these elements and substantially enhance worker safety protections.
