A two-year-old child died after being hit by a forklift which was accidentally set in motion.
The incident happened on Saturday 8 November at a rural property at Lynford, in the Brisbane area.
The forklift has since been seized by police. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is currently investigating the incident.
The incident prompted Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to remind workers and organisations to consider the effectiveness of isolating plant and vehicles and providing a safe play area for children.
